Updated Skincare Routine

Hey guys!

I posted a skincare routine on my YouTube channel over the summer and it seemed really popular and I see videos and posts like these popping up all over the internet so I though I’d chat to yo today about my updated skincare routine as I don’t want to do it as a separate video:) This is my Skincare routine that I do about twice or three times a week, when I have a little extra time to really make my skin feel loved and look a lot better, I obviously don’t do this every single day but for you guys to get the best idea of which products I use regularly I thought I’d do it like this:)

The first thing that I’ve been loving recently is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing water. I’ve never been one to switch my skincare around a lot, I’m quite a same-y person and once I’ve found something that I like and that works I use that product for a long period of time, for me I’ve always taken my makeup of with the ‘Simple Kind to Eyes Makeup Remover’ however the Garnier Micellar Water has definitley replaced that. This is so much more gentle on the skin and does more than just remove your makeup but cleanses your skin at the same time!

After removing my makeup if I’m having a real pamper night the next thing I do is use a facemask, again I’m not a massive lover of doing these all the time but for one off occasions this one is definitley my new favourite thing. I bought this from Savers which makes it sound really cheap, and it was! I think this was about £3 and you could probably use it about 20 times without it running out, which I think is such good value for money. This is a clay face mask which works really nicely for me as I have oily skin and clay helps open your pores and get rid of any unnecessary oils. I’ve been leaving this on for about 15-20 minutes, usually whilst I’m in the bath and you can tell when it’s time to wash it off because it sets on your face making it feel really funny.

Then once I’ve finished with the facemask I’ve been cleansing my face with the Simple Cleanser which I’ve been using for a while and really really love. This just removes any makeup or dirt from your skin that the other products have missed whilst making it feel really soft at the same time. I love this product and it is super quick to use and once I started using it I remember asking myself why it had taken me this long to try it!

Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion

To go hand-in-hand with this cleaner I’ve also been LOVING the Simple Toner, the only issue with this is that I never really know how to apply it as a lot of toners come in a mist form were you spray it onto your face through a nozzle type bottle, however this just pours out. The way I tend to do this is to pour it onto cotton wool pads and then rub those over my face. I feel like Toners are really underrated and when I went to the Spa with Erin for her birthday we had facials done and the woman there told me that that was what my skin was lacking. So if you’re like me and you have oily/combination skin Toner is a step you don’t want to miss out!

Now the final step, and the main reason for this blogpost is this gorgeous product kindly sent to me from the lovely team at the Derma Group! This is their Acne Ultra-Clear Spot cream, now I don’t actually suffer with acne but I do get spots fairly often and do feel that a lot of the time products you put on to try and calm them down don’t work. This, on the other hand, REALLY DOES! I’ve had this product for a while now and haven’t reviewed it until I know that it actually works as it says it does and honestly I’d really recommend it! It clears my skin up almost overnight and to top that off it smells amazing, I’ll leave a link to were you guys can buy it and get 10% off!!! (click here ) but I love it, so thank you so much for sending me that, I’ve loved trying it out so far!
