Deck the Hauls – Tanya Burr :)

Happy Boxing Day!

I hope you all had the best Christmas Ever! As Christmas is now over, that means advent is also! During this festive season I was lucky enough to receive the ‘Tanya Burr Deck the Hauls’ beauty calendar, which I was very excited about! As I have now emptied it I thought I would share it with you readers and chat to you about my personal favourites!

Includes: 2x Nail Varnish, 3x lip glosses 2x Eyeshadow Shimmer Pots 2x Nail Files 2x Eyelashes and 1x Mirror

As this was only £15 I think it was definitely worth it as it includes a lot of good quality products!

The lip glosses where my personal favourites as I’d never tried a Tanya Burr lipgloss before (as previously I only owned her eyeshadow palettes)

These are really good and very long lasting considering it’s a gloss! My personal favourite was the one laying flat in the colour ‘Macaroon’. The purple one is called ‘Bewitching’ and the Pink called ‘Candy Frost’ Bewitching has been a favourite throughout this festive month as it’s so Christmassy!

The top is ‘Carnival Night’ and the bottom is ‘Under the Sea’. While they look similar on here they’re actually very different! The left is very purple and quite dark but ‘Under the Sea’ is quite transparent and would look a little better with another colour under it! These are full size so are really nice gifts to receive before Christmas!

The lashes were something I was a little unsure of, not because I don’t like them but just because I’m rubbish at applying them and they can seem a little daunting! However Tanya really changed my mind! The other set (which I’ve already worn so haven’t done a close up) were so easy to apply and I shall definitely be repurchasing!

The eyeshadow pots were something I was really looking forward too! I’m a huge fan of Tanya’s eyeshadow palettes and they’re often my go-to eye makeup as they’re so easy but so pretty! These (needless to say) don’t disappoint!

The gold-based shimmer pot is called ‘Creme Brûlée’ and the darker one ‘starry night’

I was so happy to receive this as a surprise off my Mum on December the first and am so proud of how far Tanya has come, I think this is such an exciting product and if she was to release another one next year I’d be quick to repurchase! The names alone are really sweet!

I hope you guys had an amazing run up to Christmas / Christmas Day!

Let me know in the comments what your favourite present was!

Much Love, M x
